From origins to horizons
Rodolfo Oviedo Vega (El Salvador)
The individual exhibition "From Origins to Horizons" was inaugurated at the Art Museum of the Americas (AMA) with the presence of distinguished figures from the cultural and diplomatic spheres.
Among the attendees were Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS); Adriana Ospina, Director of AMA of the OAS; the Ambassadors of El Salvador, Panama, Ecuador, and Paraguay, as well as the Observing Ambassadors of the United States, France, and Italy to the OAS, among others. This event fostered a profound dialogue on history, power, and resistance in the Americas through art.
The exhibition was made possible with the support of the delegations of El Salvador and France, as well as the MARTE Museum of El Salvador. Also, this project is the result of a collaborative and creative process involving curators Marisa Caichiolo (Argentina-United States), Rafael Alas Vásquez (El Salvador), Christina Chirouze Montenegro (Guatemala-France), and Pancho López (Mexico), who they explore and interpret with the artist the history of our continent through art.
