Showroom From origins to horizons

Rodolfo Oviedo Vega (El Salvador)

This is an ephemeral showroom, a celebration of the dialogue between tradition and modernism. Directly from the Art Museum of the Americas in Washington DC to San Salvador, Salvadoran artist Rodolfo Oviedo Vega presents his pieces alongside works by Guillermo Perdomo in a unique exhibition held in a historic house. This exhibition is a continuation of Rodolfo Oviedo Vega’s new collection, which was previously displayed at the museum and has now been returned to its country of origin, El Salvador. In this new phase, Rodolfo has added ancient pieces, seamlessly merging them with contemporary works. The artistic line follows the concept of a local tower construction project, symbolizing innovation over the old, as ancient pieces from past collections intertwine with fresh creations, offering a unique narrative of continuity and transformation.
